The Premiere of “The Joy of Politics” An evening of lies, damn lies and silly Whigs!
The Black Sheep are award winning double act Andrew Jones and Ciaran Murtagh, Radio 4 writers and the creative team behind The Joy of Wine, I, Lear and Entertainium. They return with their new show THE JOY OF POLITICS directed by Cal McCrystal, opening with a three week run at the Warehouse Theatre, Croydon (4-22 November 2009).

From the Magna Carta to this morning’s headlines The Black Sheep deliver a manifesto of mirth in an evening of laughter. The show will be updated daily with topical jokes and satirical sketches.
The Black Sheep are:-
Andrew Jones who co-founded The Black Sheep with Ciaran in when they met at the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2002. Outside of The Black Sheep, Andrew’s recent work has included being a guide on site-specific Deep End at the Marshall Street Baths in Soho, being the back end of a horse for artist Boyd Webb’s film installation at the Estoric Gallery, and teaching drama techniques to physics teachers with Y Touring.
Ciaran Murtagh is an actor, writer and comedian. He has appeared in numerous TV, film and theatre roles including Da Ali G Show, Murder in Mind, Conspiracy of Silence and Trigger Happy TV. His first book was published in September 2009.
