March & April 2011: WHAT’S ON AT WATERLOO EAST THEATRE

21 March – 3 April & 11 – 23 April: The Watcher
Sarah Manners (PC Kirsty Knight in The Bill, Casualty, Strictly Come Dancing) will star in BAFTA and EMMY award-winning writer Jeremy Paul’s thrilling psychological drama The Watcher, directed by Roger Martin. A woman, alone in a park, is sunbathing.  A stranger approaches. There is a sense of danger as they observe each other. Through a series of twists and turns an uneasy power struggle intensifies until truths are revealed. But who is watching whom?  And why?
Show Times: Tuesdays – Saturdays 7:30pm. Saturday Matinees at 4pm

5 – 10 April: Accidental Death of an Anarchist
LOVE&MADNESS present their production of Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo’s engaging satire for a limited run of 7 performances. Accidental Death of an Anarchist is based on the strange case of anarchist railway worker Giuseppe Pinelli, who was accused of bombing a bank and later ‘fell’ to his death from a 4th floor police station window in 1969. This new translation by John Laskin and Michael Aquilante first toured in 2010 to mark the tenth anniversary of LOVE&MADNESS.
Show Times:  Tuesdays – Saturdays 7:30pm, Thurs 7 April at 1pm, Sunday Matinee at 4pm.
